Hello. My message is very premature but we are on a 3-5 year plan to move to the Las Vegas area. We will be selling 2 homes in Georgia, mine and spouse and my mother. Mom will be relocating with us. Husband will be working at the airport so would like a nice area that provides a nice commute for him~what communities would you recommend? This will also be our retirement home. Also, schools are not import as we are childless. Looking for at least 4-5 bedrooms, 3-5 bathrooms. Ideally, for mom~would love a “Jack and Jill” set up on main level of the home. Don’t know if that is a real estate phrase used in Nevada but in Georgia it is ideal for kids but for our use, ideal for mom. It would allow her space on one side of the home for her bedroom/bath/and a sitting area. A pool already in place would be perfect, but with the right lot we could put that in at a later date. The kitchen would be perfect with a double stove. I suppose I am getting way ahead of myself but looking forward to the future out west. I just happened to be in Las Vegas in April for a quick vacation, rented a car and drove around with no idea where I was going. We may come back out the first week in September for a day or two.
